Categories
EBT Youth Tour will consist of 3 official categories, either mixed or gender based (up to 6 categories total).
In EBT Youth 2024/2025 the HCP rules has been slightly changed
If a tournament is using the official age categories in mixed categories, the tournament can choose from either 8, 12 or 16 in HCP per game for girls.
In case a tournament is NOT using the official age categories, the HCP can “only” be 8 per game.
The official pointgiving categories for season 2024/2025 are:
Category 1: 0-14 (born after 30/6-2010)
Category 2: 15-18 (born after 30/6-2006)
Category 3: 19-25 (born after 30/6-1998)
Your age at the 1st of July is applying to the whole season, even though you might change to another category inside the season.
If a EBT Youth tournament is following the using official age categories points will be given after the FINAL standing.
If the tournament is NOT using the official agegroups then points will be given after the QUALIFICATION standing for each official category
(results will be “re-calculated/moved” into official age categories)
