The European Bowling tour is coming very much alive….

The bowling competition at the 2022 World Games took place July 8–11, 2022, in Birmingham United States.
The medals in the bowling competition of the games were awarded as follows:

Women’s Singles

Gold: USA, represented by Shannon O’Keefe

Silver: Colombia, represented by Clara Guerrero

Bronze: Sweden, represented by Jenny Wegner

Men’s Singles

Gold: Australia, represented by Sam Cooley

Silver: Czeck, represented by Jaroslav Lorenc

Bronze: Canada, represented by Graham Fach

Women’s Doubles

Gold: Denmark, represented by Mai Ginge Jensen and Mika Guldbaek

Silver: USA, represented by Shannon O’Keefe and Julia Bond

Bronze: Malaysia, represented by Li Jane Sin and Natasha Mohamed Rosian

Men’s Doubles

Gold: Denmark, represented by Jesper Agerbo and Dan Östergaard-Poulsen

Silver: Canada, represented by Graham Fach and Darren Alexander

Bronze: South Korea, represented by Donghyuk Park and Donghyeon Kim

The Brunswick Euro Challenge 2022 was held in the fabolous Dream Bowl-Palace in Unterförhing, Germany, during 25 June to 3 July 2022, total 715 entries and re-entries by 215 athletes, where of 45 were women bowled during the week.

 

After the final step 3 then the following 3 athletes were playing stepladder for the win.:

 

Top seeded: Kim Bolleby, Sweden

Second sedded:  Dominic Barrett, England

Third seeded:  Rasmus Edwall, Sweden

 

First Dominic had a easy win, 209 vs 169 from Rasmus Edwall, but then came a nailbiting final game, ending with 236 vs 235 for Dominic Barrett vs Kim Bolleby.

 

The highest woman became Mai Ginge Jensen, Denmark.

 

There were considerable changes in the standings in the tour ranking, Now Tomas Käyhkö, Finland and Mai Ginge Jensen, Denmark are leading men respectively women ranking.

Bernice Lim, Singapore,  and Jesse Kallio, Finland, won the EBT Masters 2020 in the women’s, respectively the men’s division.

 

The EBT Masters 2022 is the 14th final of a European Bowling Tour.

 

The competition was held in Dream-Bowl Palace, Unterföhring, Germany on the 29 June 2022.

 

The format of the event included 8 qualification games, followed by cut to 4 person’s pr gender that played further 4 games.

Competition starts in Dream Bowl on 29.06 at 09.00 and first are 8 games played and then cut down to 4 of each gender and more 4 games –

The Kegel Aalborg International 2022 was conducted in Lövvang Bowling Center, Aalborg, Denmark during 22-29 May 2022   Total of 334 entries by 133 athletes (where of 38 women) bowled during the week.

 

After the final step 3 then the following 4 athletes were playing for the gold…

 

Pool 1: Niko Oksanen, Finland and Carsten W Hansen, Denmark.

Pool 2: Anders Lousdal, Denmark and Kim Bolleby, Sweden.

 

First Niko Oksanen competed with Anders Louisdal and won 226 vs 223

Next Kim Bolleby competed with Carsten W. Hansen and won 235 vs 232

3rd game was then Anders Lousdal vs Kim Bolleby and won 249 vs 247

And last game was Anders Lousdal vs Niko Oksanen and won 279 vs 201

 

This was the first EBT title for Anders Lousdal

 

The highest woman became Misake Mukotani, Japan.

 

Now the EBT Tour is slowly waking up after Covid-19, Next tournament is postponed Brunswick Euro Challenge in Unterföhring, Germany 25 June – 3 July, and then late August with Odense international and then there will be tournament after tournament for 5 straight weeks

The EBT Masters 2020 – which is the final of the EBT 2019 will be held in Lövvang Bowling Center, Aalborg, Denmark on the 26 May 2022

The EBT Masters 2020 was supposed to be held in San Marino in July 2020 but had to be postponed, and we hope that we can finalise this in Aalborg, Denmark on 26 May 2022.
